The Shame of Sanctuary Cities

When does disingenuousness become a flat out lie tearing at the fabric of our country by eliminating borders and excusing the virtue signaling and hypocrisies of sanctuary cities. It is a perverted boast to describe a city as a sanctuary to gain a moral advantage among the credulous and fellow travelers. ?It is ignoble and depraved to maintain the designation while breaching the promise and pointing an accusing finger of responsibility at the blameless.

?A well-ordered immigration policy, regulated not renegade, is not only a boon to immigrants who arrive within our shores legally, but also is the heart and soul of American pre-eminence, both materially and spiritually. It is the fulfillment of promises made and kept. But the Progressive left, in accord with Marxian ideology, have embarked upon a grand scheme to undermine democracy by changing the definition of words. “I am an immigrant. I am an American citizen.” was formerly an earned and cherished accolade. However, beginning with Obama and accelerated by Biden the concept of immigration has been cheapened and immigrants diminished because they have come to be identified as fungible goods, allowed entry without process, and absent checks and balances.

?En masse they violate our laws and as a class they are feared and marginalized which is consistent with the aim of Biden policies. Certainly, they are being treated as means not ends in themselves, and their dignity is being sacrificed to pit each of us against the other by deconstructing our nation built upon the rule of laws not men. It is what Marxists do, and burdened as we are by the weakling without a compass in the oval office, they have had free reign to set the terms of the debate by capturing language to put it to insidious use to accomplish their goals. ?Immigration is only one example of how their tactics are being successfully employed. Everywhere the usual meanings of words and phrases have been harnessed by them so that our genuine dialogue has been replaced my mutual animosities and reasoned conversation has degenerated into name- calling. ???

?This is the sad state of our affairs which is daily exacerbated by the falsehoods and meaningless digressions emanating from the mouth of Karine Jean Pierre the carefully chosen spokesperson for the White House. Before becoming press secretary for the President, she served as chief of staff for vice president Kamala Harris and was acknowledged as a force in Progressive politics. ?It is curious to recall that candidate Biden declared his principal intention as President would be to bring people together and then he inexplicably decided that his principal aide would be a leading Progressive.

?We know he did not make that choice of his own volition. If we knew who did we would have a gotcha moment into the depth and breadth of the Marxist agenda for which Biden is a useful shill. It would not be possible for them to make the inroads they have made merely by a comprehensive efficiency. In addition to grasping the reins of government they adroitly created a boogey man to distract us from the revolution within. We would have been, as we should now be, listening and debating the issues whose resolution will dictate who we are as a nation in the near- and long-term future. Trump is the red herring who keeps on giving to the malefactors who utilize his monumental flaws and egregious foibles to lie about him beginning with Russian Collusion and continuing through largely manufactured lawsuits. ?This is not to deny that he owns a lion’s share of the transgressions against him, but it is also not an excuse to relinquish the true nature and magnitude of the Damoclean Sword hanging above us. ??

?The redefinition of immigration is a double whammy imposed by Marxists. They have projected it as a stain on our national character and an abdication of the lofty purposes of our Founders. Nothing could be further from the truth. ?To implement their deliberate plan to impeach our credibility they have reduced entry across our border without check or balance into a cattle drive, whereby migrants are cast as beasts of burden with no human value to America. Instead, by skeptical manipulation they are depicted as trampling aggressors storming our land while insisting upon rights without corresponding responsibilities.
