My site visit to Shambala Lodge this weekend was an incredible experience. Shambala forms part of The Saxon Hotel. It is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Johannesburg, situated in the Vaalwater region of Limpopo. Shambala has 8 luxury en- suite Zulu Hut. The food, service and staff was outstanding. On the same reserve they also offer an additional luxury home called The Mandela House with 5 spacious bed rooms all en-suite. A beautiful entertainment deck looks onto the private pool which is under roof. On the reserve guests can also enjoy a boat cruise during their stay. The cruise offers magnificent views of the surrounding bush & mountains, providing an ideal platform for sunset cruise drinks or a morning breakfast on the water. Guests can treat themselves to the spa facilities. Shambala Lodge is perfect for those small Executive Breakaways or Incentives Groups.
