Shalom!

As a simple definition, the Hebrew word Shalom (pronounced - 'shaw-lome') means peace. But did you know this word is not simple at all? With the aid of the Hebrew Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance)?let us dig deeper into this most beautiful word. When I greet you with Shalom, I am blessing you with,

2. welfare, wellness, wellbeing?and good health
3. soundness, security and safety
4. wholeness and perfection
5. ease and rest
6. prosperity and favor
7. peace, quiet, tranquillity, contentment
8. friendships - healthy human relationships and covenant relationship with?God.

Wow! Shalom depicts the truth, freedom and beauty of a life fully in Christ. It reflects the heart and intent of The Father, and the result of enduring His conversion processes. If we are honest, it also captures the deepest desires of our own hearts. A depiction of true harmony,?Shalom is what we need and seek.

"For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 AMP

This is the reason why Jesus, who is the Prince and Governor of Peace, came. There is no other way for us to be reconciled to The Father, and restored to His perfect peace - but through The Son, Jesus Christ. Shalom is God's realm and reward for those who seek and covenant with Him. So when we surrender to the King, little by little shalom becomes our reality.

Make no mistake, every other way is a fake and will eventually?fail. Jesus is the only way to?reconnect with our divine identity, authority and destiny, and to realize the fullness of shalom.
