SHAKE YOUR FUTURE - Meet your new bartenders in Barcelona!

We just begin the new year but we also just end the first session of the Shake Your Future program here in Barcelona.

NEW SHAKE YOUR FUTURE PROMOTION IS DONE

Shake Your Future is a free-training program created by Bacardi to train the next generation of skilled bartenders. We help young unemployed adults with disadvantaged backgrounds to have a fresh start in life and start a successful career as bartenders.

After one month of basic bartender training, and two weeks of advanced mixology course delivered by our partners European Bartender School, plus specific masterclasses about Bacardi portfolio of brands delivered by our Brand Ambassadors team, 7 new bartenders are now fully skilled to start a career behind the bar, and maybe become the star-tenders of tomorrow!

HARD WORK, SPIRIT & SOUL

I am proud of this group of 7 hard workers who started this learning journey before the pandemic hits in 2020, and had to be patient to start again the training only this year!

This incredible journey ended on Friday, February 4th with a cocktail competition at EBS Barcelona, won by Nuria Solà Garcia, the youngest of the team!

Value does not wait for the number of years.

This entire Shake Your Future session was real teamwork, and I want to thank:

• Elena, Miguel, and Alberto - our wonderful Advocacy team at Bacardi for their support,

For graduates, the end of Shake Your Future program and this diploma is just the beginning of a new career as skilled bartenders.
