One of the benefits of being highly connected in the #TRIAD is there is always something going on where you can visit your friends and meet even more great people.
Thanks to Dynamic Quest and Darren Barnes for hosting a monthly meeting Shake IT Up social gathering of technology professionals. I am granted permission to show up, despite my transition out of the tech world, because of my friendships in this space.
This month Dynamic Quest partnered with Storage Craft Technology Corp, Carl Bjerke and Mark Deal to host a combined event for Triad VMUG and Shake IT UP.
Last night (11/1/18) they held the social in the third floor meeting room at Natty Greene's Brewing Company, one of my favorite Greensboro NC pubs.
As usual, there were lots of people, lots of laughter, conversations and ideas being shared.
I enjoyed seeing lots of good folks I haven't seen in some time.
Carl invited us all to experiment with LinkedIn's Nearby feature to connect with those in the room. It was a firestorm of LinkedIn invites and messages, however we all made some new connections with good people in the room.
Here are some of the folks who attended:
Aaron VanMeter, Allen Maine, Andrew Holden, Brittany Deaton ,Camden Went, Carl Bjerke, Carol Cowan, Christopher Wilson, Chuck Starratt, Darcy Ford, Darren Barnes, Doug Purnell, Greg Michalek, Jill Jones, Joe Norris, John Cerrato, John Newman, Jordan Peterson, Kathy Fraser, Keith Battle, Kevin Greenwood, Lakshay Grover, Mark Harris, Mark Deal, Mark Edmonson, Melissa Masten, Michael Allred, Rebecca Payne, Ron Michaux, Sean Stowers, Steven Iltis, Teddy Burriss.
