Growing up with a mother who was emotionally unavailable or neglectful casts a long shadow over one's life. I know this all too well. The absence of maternal warmth and guidance left me grappling with feelings of inadequacy and abandonment. But my journey has taught me that this is not an end; it's a beginning. This book is my testament to the power of healing from such deep-rooted trauma.

Healing begins with recognition. For years, I struggled to understand why I felt so empty inside, why relationships seemed so challenging, and why happiness felt just out of reach. It was a painful awakening to realize that these issues stemmed from the emotional neglect I experienced as a child. But in that pain, there was also liberation.
