Early the next morning after pulling an all nighter, former Captain Sarah stares at her computer screen in disbelief. An American Legion article in 2018 writes about another base BEFORE she came to The Fort. Fort McLellan and the nearby Aniston Army Depot.

It’s titled “The Long Shadow of Fort McClellan”. Written by Ken Olsen.

It paints a picture of a McClellan military base where the Chemical Corps school headquartered, where Monsanto had a plant nearby. Where female vets later became sick. Where the? Womans Army Corps? trained there.

Before it was decommissioned, Captain Sarah was in that group.?
