One of the schools in the Bhanra cluster was the GES Dhakrabba. When I first started going to this school, I noticed the cooks were working hard to get the pupils' midday meals ready while sitting in the glaring sun. I greeted the cooks by saying, "Hello aunty, how are you?" and she retorted in rage. "Should I tell you what's going on?" she questioned. We were getting burned by the scorching sun and the hot chulla (cooker) at the same time during the sweltering summer. The objective was to prove the words' authenticity. I then discussed this with the school's head teacher and questioned why these cooks make food every day in this poor condition.?They have to prepare food outside because the school lacks a midday meal shed. Additionally, he stated that while the meal is prepared here in the open, there is a risk of anything dropping inside of it. After that, I discussed this with the village's Sarpanch, who firstly did not took it seriously and decline to take any action. The head teacher of the school chose not to speak with the Sarpanch about the situation because it was extremely challenging to meet him due to his non-presence in the the village.?The one mid-day lunch was being served in the open when the Sarpanch entered the school since we had decided that this was the appropriate time to bring him there after learning that the Sarpanch had been in the area one day. which affected the Sarpanch and caused him to begin carefully considering this matter. After a few days, I got a call from the Sarpanch informing me that the Panchayat Secretary had arrived in the village and that this was the ideal time to discuss the school shed. To align panchayat officials with the panchayat secretary, it takes a month of regular meetings with officials and hours of sitting outside their offices. Ought to highlight to them how crucial this is for the benefit of children. following all of these efforts We had the shed at the school .
