Shab-e She’r Poetry One Hundredth Event Report
Shab-e She’r (Poetry Night) celebrated our 100th event in April, the poetry month, on the 24th, at the Tranzac Club, Toronto.

It was a fabulous night of diverse voices, styles, and languages (English, French, Tagalog, Kurdish, Persian, and Old English).
?
Our features Andy Lee and Rasiqra Revulva offered memorable sets. They also helped us build community.

We distributed special bookmarks sent by the League of Canadian Poets with the theme of weather for 2024.
At the end of the night, we had a draw and three open mic readers won artworks by Ann Bald-Bloom.
