Huge thanks to all who attended and everyone who spread the word to their network, including organizations, individuals, and professors who shared the information with students.
?
Much love to Shab-e She’r team member, Farah Ayaad, for reading the land acknowledgment and photography.
?
Mark your calendars for the upcoming Shab-e She’r on February 28, 2023, the same venue.
?
We only have three more open mics on University of Alberta Campus. So, if you are in or around Edmonton, make sure you attend to experience Canada’s most diverse and brave poetry open mic. If the experience of COVID19 pandemic has highlighted anything, it is the fact that opportunities to connect do not last forever. Cherish them while they last.
