It's 50 years since the Beatles iconic Sgt Pepper album was released. In fact it's 50 years and a week, as it was 26 May 1967 here in the UK. Much imitated, updated and parodied, it might be the most iconic album cover of all time, but was the album actually all that good?
I've heard a lot of people say recently that Revolver was far better - can you even remember the cover of that album though?
Which makes me wonder, even when it comes to music, is it the art that matters? #InspiringArtandMusic

7 年The first album that I ever bought, I recall it was £2.39 from WHS. For me the best Beatles album, closely followed by Abbey Road. Such a groundbreaking delivery of amazing, diverse and mature songs by young people at the peak of their creativity.
