Seventh call for the SanLucar Dual Training Program in Wholesale and Foreign Trade
SanLucar offers young talent the opportunity to make the leap into the labor market in just 2 years thanks to this training cycle in which the student receives a monthly salary.
The registration period for the seventh edition of Dual Training in Wholesale and Foreign Trade, the program offered in Valencia by SanLucar together with FEDA Madrid German Business School , is open until next April.
In 2019, both entities imported to Spain this educational program that enjoys great acceptance in countries such as Germany where there is hardly any youth unemployment. Since then, every year, SanLucar turns its headquarters in Spain into a study center where the theoretical part of the program takes place. The students choose where to carry out the practical part, among the different companies based in Valencia participating in the Dual Training.
Mandy Zwahlen Sales Training Manager at SanLucar explains: “One of the main strengths of the dual training is precisely its alternation of theory and practice, which allows the student to come into contact with the working world and become familiar with the environment of multinational companies such as SanLucar from the first day”.
In fact, due to the international nature of the program, students must have a B1 level knowledge of Spanish, English and German, an interest in the world of foreign trade and logistics and have a High School diploma to be part of it.
For its part, the program offers them access to a training in which they receive a monthly salary during the two years of their studies, bringing them closer to the reality of the labor market.
“With our vocational program, the young talents trained according to the needs of the companies where they do their internships, which helps them to be hired in the future. For the participating companies, it is a great added value to have young talent that already has extensive knowledge of the operations and functioning of their business,” says Zwahlen. She adds: “One of the great lessons we have learned over the years with our dual training program is how to identify the new needs of the younger generation in their access to the workplace. Adapting our job offer to their new demands is crucial when it comes to recruiting young talent”.
