Seven Strategies to Deepen Your Relationships With Your Customers and Team Members, Sprinkled with Automation Tools!

As a business Owner your most valuable assets are:

Your Team:

From the Start-

  1. Job post- Relationships are a two way street and start at day one! In this job post you need to list Something Wonderful about your company that would appeal to or impress you applicant. Like: Company Mission- Being a part of something bigger matters so much, volunteer work and part of company profit going to a cause is huge! Then list a few clear expectations and requirements for the position. Then some more perks, training, flexible, joyful, culture...   2. On Boarding- Systematize/Personalize this process in your company. Communication, expectation and organization of information is huge here. Project directions, deadlines, updates and details.   3. Edify and Encourage in front of both current team and clients. Celebrate them! Tool: https://restream.io/join/NkGqx6
  4. Creating a SAFE, TRUSTED environment. Let them know your team is your first priority BEFORE even your clients. That even if they make a mistake you will be there for them ... THEY need to be able to TELL you anything AND Everything!! You must always REMAIN CALM and reply, "thank you for trusting me and feeling safe enough to come to me with this challenge, do not worry together we will come up with both a solution and a plan to prevent this challenge from arising in the future"! Let them know you value and appreciate you. (Unless you are shooting rockets into the moon, or you have human life in your hands, 100% of mistakes are not a big deal...they are fixable, avoidable with good planning and systems for future. They are also learnable moments.. for you, your team member and your clients. Life will go on.. show kindness, patience, compassion and loyalty to your team members and they will appreciate you, work harder for you when you are not looking, turn down people who try to steal them from you and have your back as much as you have theirs! That is priceless!
  5. "60 Things" This is another talk I do... It is important to KNOW your team members as much as HR laws will allow and as much as they feel comfortable sharing.. things like their favorite color, birthday, family, kids names, sports, birthdays, causes, past times, hobbies, what motivates them (it is not always money!)...   8. Get your teams feed back listen to their ideas! Together, make company goals that would include in the goal room for bonuses for team members when the goal was met! (Profit Sharing, Rocks)

  11. Have a growth plan based on what each team member wants to achieve, in the company, in knowledge, personal growth, health, Family, Community and Life goals! Be a part of their success journey when possible supporting them in more than just work and knowledge..

  3. "60 Things" This is another talk I do... It is important to KNOW your clients as much as they feel comfortable sharing.. things like their favorite color, birthday, family, kids names, sports, birthdays, causes, past times, hobbies, what success looks like to them.   4. Presentation, deeper chance to know you, webinar, video, networking, master mind, challenge, one on one... They must FEEL good at the end of this... remember people remember how you make them feel!! Right .. the rest is well... forgotten. Listen, listen, ask good questions, and Listen!! Compliment, VALIDATE, in your responses Mirror, tone, energy and key words....
