Seven Pillars of Culture at Zoth

Seven Pillars of Culture at Zoth

Zoth was born from an idea stemming from Pritam, Koushik, and the team’s personal experiences, highlighting how the global financial order is often stacked against emerging markets. It's challenging for small business owners, like a grocery store owner in Southeast Asia & Africa, to access credit or for small exporters to navigate currency fluctuations in regions like Latin America.

As Zoth builds for its next phase of growth, the following are the seven pillars of culture at Zoth which are looked for in everyone as they join Zoth to build a company with a solid focus on its core purpose and why it exists in this world:

Being Hungry & Foolish: Zoth has always believed in the ever-evolving blockchain and crypto space, but taking the leap to build a life and risk a career in a sector where regulations are still evolving and undergoing its worst crisis requires a unique mindset. Are you comfortable in rooms where you're not the smartest? Are you naturally inquisitive and willing to experiment as the crypto sector evolves? Welcome to Zoth.

Resilience & Grit: It's not always the smartest team that triumphs, but rather the one that refuses to quit. The prolonged bear market instilled grit in Zoth's DNA. Are you prepared to hustle and give your all to Zoth? Ownership of results is not claimed, but at Zoth, the team will keep running the race against competitors until the end.

Speed over Perfection: Startups' primary advantage over larger players is speed. Zoth iterates quickly, discards what doesn't work, and swiftly moves on to the next step. At this growth stage, hiring mercenaries—individuals who execute rapidly and deliver results—is valued. Failure is acceptable, but swift execution is imperative. Talk is cheap; execution is demanding.

Frugal Mentality: Neither good times nor bad times last forever. The greatest companies endure by outlasting others. In the fast-paced crypto landscape, enduring brands like Coinbase, and Circle have been around for at least seven years, thriving through focus and frugality. Every expense at Zoth is evaluated for its ROI—how it directly benefits Zoth's KPIs. A frugal mindset is sought, seeking cheaper alternatives and spending company funds as cautiously as one's own.

Learning from Failures: Failure is not only accepted but embraced as a catalyst for growth at Zoth. Top performers have weathered past setbacks, emerging stronger and more resilient. The culture fosters an environment where individuals are encouraged to learn from mistakes, continuously evolve, and push boundaries.

Have Big Dreams: There's far less competition when you dream big because 99% of people don't. When Zoth started, everyone dismissed the RWA/Crypto sector, but by staying focused, Zoth has thrived. Zoth is on a mission to become the world's largest RWA player, and everyone on the team is expected to share this vision. No goal is too distant, and failure in pursuit of big dreams is acceptable—what matters is that one tried.

Customer Trust: At Zoth we are in the business of Trust. In everything that we do, Customer Protection comes first, especially in a sector like crypto which is still evolving. We believe in eating our dog food and something which is not right for Zoth cannot be right for its customers.
