Seven Minutes...
This week.
Seven minutes.
Seven minutes to help you do less in order to become more productive (the promise of this short weekly article).
The Problem:?I Am Slammed Right Now
This week, imagine you and I are hanging out at the end of a dock.
By the lake. Or the ocean. Or... Where? (There should be water in the vicinity lol).
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "I am slammed right now."
I take time every once in a while to pause time.
Especially when I feel overwhelmed.
It does not need to be a LOT of time.
But for me, pause must I (in my best yoda voice which is really just a funny way of me talking to myself in my head).
Try seven minutes.
Why?
Meh... why not?! (smile)

2 周Breathe (and meditate) - ideally, outside and over a brief walk.
I help you shape a brighter future for your small town, giving you practical steps you can put into action right away. You don't have to know all the answers if you can stay open to new ideas.
2 周Re-read my Well-Rounded Life list. It has things like "Create a lasting legacy for rural people" and "Connected with others" that help me remember my life priorities. That takes about a minute. The next six minutes depend on why and how I'm "slammed."
Organize my desk or work environment. Seven minutes is a good amount of time to feel accomplished and then enjoy the improved space.
