Seven Minutes...

Seven Minutes...

This week.

Seven minutes.

Seven minutes to help you do less in order to become more productive (the promise of this short weekly article).

The Problem:?I Am Slammed Right Now

This week, imagine you and I are hanging out at the end of a dock.

By the lake. Or the ocean. Or... Where? (There should be water in the vicinity lol).

ME: "Hey, how are you?"

YOU: "I am slammed right now."

I take time every once in a while to pause time.

Especially when I feel overwhelmed.

It does not need to be a LOT of time.

But for me, pause must I (in my best yoda voice which is really just a funny way of me talking to myself in my head).

Try seven minutes.

Why?

Meh... why not?! (smile)

Re-read my Well-Rounded Life list. It has things like "Create a lasting legacy for rural people" and "Connected with others" that help me remember my life priorities. That takes about a minute. The next six minutes depend on why and how I'm "slammed."

Organize my desk or work environment. Seven minutes is a good amount of time to feel accomplished and then enjoy the improved space.
