Seven Amazing Years

Every year I take the time to reflect on where the company has been and what we have accomplished as a team.? This year it is hard to put into words the dedication I witness of each person at Arrive.? The last 16+ months have been filled with adversity all across the globe.? Each company is its own microcosm that has experienced its own challenges due to the pandemic.? When I look back to last July, we were a dispersed workforce, sending the entire team to work in the confines of their home.? What a foreign concept in the brokerage world where culture, team work, and knowledge sharing is integral to our business.

Fast forward to today and the company is hitting on all cylinders.? We have a lot of areas we are needing to improve, as all companies do, no one is perfect.? Internally we always reference the Relentless Pursuit of Perfection (RPP).? We know we will never be perfect but every day our team comes in challenging themselves and each other on how we can get better.? As I look back on the year, here are some of the things that I am most proud of.

• Our team's ability to transition from 100% in the office to 100% remote.? Today we have a lenient flex policy (based on tenure) for everyone but most of our team is choosing to come in voluntarily.? Culture is everything.? The teams learn and challenge each other and everyone wins in that environment.??
• Our internal engagement scores are historically high. We experienced turnover just like everyone else has in the last year.? However, the team we have today is aligned and excited for the future.? It shows in the engagement scores and effort levels across the board.? Plus, every recruiter in the industry is trying to hire Arrive talent.? It's a serious compliment.? Our people are the best.??Thank you for validating that!
• Our service levels are at the highest level since Arrives' formation.? On Time Pick, On Time Delivery, Auto-Tracking, overall service for our customers and carriers is the only reason Arrive is in business today.? I am proud to say the team is laser focused on giving the customers the absolute best experience possible and it shows in the numbers!
• We secured the long term financing necessary to build a company capable of achieving and exceeding $5B in revenue in the next 7 years.? I used to always talk about getting to $1B and people thought I was nuts.? Now, we are on pace to do over $1.4B in 2021. The team is energized and ready to take this business to the next level.? Our devotion to our core strength is what sets us apart.? We are adding capabilities over the coming years but we are set on creating the best experience, most readily available capacity, and efficient solution for truckload in North America.
• Our technology is on the cusp of being best in class.? What we have built over the last year is remarkable.? The Technology team at Arrive has grown from ~60 to over 200 today.? We are ramping up our investment in our platform so that our system is the most flexible, efficient, and automated platform within the industry.? We want our employees to focus on building relationships, servicing customers and carriers, not the day to day tasks that systems can more easily handle.? It's all about delivering the best experience to the customers, carriers and our employees.

This list could go on and on and for those still here and reading this, THANK YOU.? The last seven years have been extremely rewarding but what drives the leadership team and every employee at Arrive is what's ahead..? What Arrive has done has never been done before.? Not organically.? Not with the same sustainability of our model or the diversification of our customers and carriers.? This past year could have been seen as a setback, but instead the team saw it as a challenge and did what Arrive does best, executed the plan and serviced our customers and carriers leading to tremendous growth. This group is relentless and I? couldn’t be prouder of our team and look forward to the future together.
