Settling in and finding your brand

Challenge Outdated Beliefs. As this newsletter comes out, I'm in Washington, DC and have likely just enjoyed a keynote from Robert Rose, so I thought I'd share this recent post he did highlighting the modern marketing dilemma: while technology advances, productivity drops. Marketers are preoccupied with post-publish metrics, neglecting the creative process leading up to the 'publish' button. The solution? Challenge outdated beliefs, prioritize the creative process, and bridge the belief gap to revolutionize content creation."

Branding transcends logos; it's your business's essence. It embodies your identity, purpose, and audience. While logos are visual, a brand resonates emotionally, evoking feelings beyond products. So much of the work that we do is around building brand through content...it's not just a logo!

New Market? There's always lots to think about when entering a new market. I enjoyed this story that shared some great insight to review before diving into a new business market. A reminder that it's crucial to research beyond the obvious. From understanding local demographics, political climates, and unique market nuances to ensuring product compatibility and aligning with personal values.

Settling In! We moved into our new Road 55 studio last week. It's a bit of a 'project in motion' right now as we get everything set up (we are ready to record though!). From placing furniture to hanging pictures, it can seem like a daunting experience. I found this article about how long it take to settle into a new home (figure a business is close as well) and a list of ideas to make the transition easier. Visit a local pub is high in the rankings! Haha!

DID YOU KNOW?! The term?5X5?(pronounced Five By Five) is rooted in the communications within military forces through WWII to mean:

“I understand you perfectly.”

The first number represented the Signal Strength of a radio communication, and the second number represented the signal clarity on a scale from 1-5?— 1 being the worst;?5?being the best. Therefore?5?x?5?means the signal has excellent strength and perfect clarity – the most understandable signal possible. Five by five is the predecessor to the term “Loud and Clear” It also found its way into verbal slang, meaning “everything is good” or “everybody is well/good”.

It would be great if you could think of someone you know who would enjoy this newsletter. If you do, please share it with them!
