Settle Your Differences
Today's devotional is from A Daily Taste of Proverbs
"Do not slander a servant to his master, or he will curse you, and you will pay for it" - 30:10.
If you have a problem with anyone, the best but not always the easiest way to handle it is to go to that person and talk about it. Perhaps you don't have the whole perspective or maybe they will see you point of view—or not. Don't take your 'bad report' to others or even to God, that person's 'master,' for Jesus commanded that you love and forgive even those who you consider your enemies.
Is it time you stopped complaining about someone to God and others and set up an appointment to see him or her? Is it time to forgive or forbear with someone? You can read how Jesus said to handle this problem in Matthew 5:22-24.
