Setting Intentions. Happy New Year To You All!

I know, no one likes affirmations anymore so why don’t we use the phrase setting intentions?

Setting intentions is key to getting what you want. I love to complete my year by counting my blessings and starting the new year by being clear on what I want to experience and achieve.

‘24 – whatever comes to mind is fine:

Thank you for all the opportunities I got via my clients to do the work I love and for all the amazing places we went to: Loch Lomonde, Kopenhagen, Singapore, NY, and the shooting lodge of Henry the 8th.

Thank you to Chris, a wonderful partner who is kind and loving but also challenges me at the right times. Thank you for cooking, too.

Thank you to my sister for looking after my mother, and making my mum’s carer move in with her whole family.

Thank you to all my girlfriends and all the lovely times we spent together in person and on the phone.

Now think about 2025.

What is it you want to experience and achieve?

The more clarity you have, the more likely you will get there.

Take this time to be selfish and think about what you want!

I can see it in my clients. Those who are clear about what they want to achieve, achieve more.

My Schaman-self screams – let the universe know what you want (not what you don’t want) and the likelihood that you get there is so much bigger.

Or see it as a game- let’s play …

Oooooh, I just love the opportunity of a new fresh year. I truly believe anything can happen and be excited.

Now, let me bore you with my career desires: (only use bold ones) to give you an idea of what I’m looking for from you:

• I will do more work with men and women using the Shine Tools for both. (We did quite a bit in 2024 and it works to build a more inclusive and human culture.)
• I will work with girls and women who will never normally come to a Shine Programme.
• I will become a published author and well-known speaker – I‘ve written a proposal, I got an agent and now we need to find a publisher ?

What do you want more of in 2025? Be specific, don’t hold back, write it down and put it somewhere to look at every month.

Use ‘I will’ not ‘I want’ and have fun with it…
