Setback? Failure? Now what?

Setback? Failure? Now what?

Setback? Failure? Now what?

All of us will have setbacks in our lives. If you are human and play the game of life you will make mistakes and have failures. It's part of trying new things, taking risks and moving?forward.?

The only constant in the world is change. Even if you have recently had a failure or setback, remind yourself its only temporary. Learn from the mistake or failure and move forward with focus and clarity.

Here are some important questions to ask yourself.

1. After your setback ask yourself - what's next? Now what??Will I try again and if so, why? Will you do something differently? Will I take time to process and/or heal from the situation? There are no right or wrong answers, it's up to you how you handle?it.

2. How did the mistake/failure change you for the better? cause growth? resiliency? strength?

3. What lesson(s) did the failure/mistake teach you??

4. If a friend was going through the same setback - what advice would you give?

5. What new skills did you gain? positive traits? purpose?

6. Did you gain a growth mindset - meaning you?thrive on challenge, and don’t see failure as a way to describe yourself but as a springboard for growth and developing your skills and talents.

You Learn to embrace challenges, try again without giving up, accepting failure is part of life and stop beating yourself up instead positively reinforcing yourself for trying, putting in the effort and hard work.
