Our newest production press represents a powerful combination of innovation, market knowledge, expert insight, and technological evolution.

Developed jointly by Koenig & Bauer and Durst the single-pass digital VariJET106 for folding carton markets is the first industrial B1 folding carton press that runs fully digitally and can feature flexo and offset stations.

We are committed to developing the most productive automated and universal printing presses in folding cartons. As such the latest portfolio addition will demonstrate its production flexibility with multiple runs throughout the exhibition. Printed samples will include applications for markets such as pharmaceuticals, health, and beauty products, as well as food and beverage.

The monster of a machine combines the very best of conventional and digital printing.

We can’t wait to share what it can do in full production. At drupa it will be shown in a hybrid configuration linked to Koenig & Bauer’s industry acclaimed Rapida offset press technology and workflow. The latest die cutting and folding gluer technology will ensure high quality finished results.

The VariJET joins Koenig & Bauer Durst’s unrivalled portfolio of digital printing machinery that includes the Delta SPC 130 and CorruJET for corrugated markets.

All presses use water-based food-safe inks and coatings that comply with all regulatory requirements including the new digital white inks for primary food packaging. The worldwide first offers fresh possibilities for converters and brands.
