Got so many leads coming in that you don’t know what to do with them?

How do you prevent these hot leads from turning cold and freezing over?

Having too many leads may sound like pure fantasy if you’ve just started out with LinkedIn marketing.
However, if you follow the connect engage convert strategy and take the necessary activity, you really can expect a steady flow of leads to your business within a few months.
You need a system to nurture these leads and prevent them from going cold. You can’t talk to all of them on the phone… that’s where Q&A webinars might be just what you’ve been looking for.
The good news is that they’re not too difficult to set up. You first need a few pieces of helpful software; then follow the three simple steps explained below…
What do you need to get started?

Your webinar toolkit includes the following:
· PowerPoint or other slide presentation software to CREATE your presentation.
· GoTo webinar, Webinar Jam or similar webinar hosting platform that you use to PRESENT your webinar from.
· Click Funnels and Lead Pages - great shortcuts with templates for everything you need to provide LANDING PAGES that encourage REGISTRATION to your webinars. These take 10 minutes to build - very simple.
· Active Campaign auto responder tool (or Infusionsoft), which helps you AUTOMATE FOLLOW UP and connect with your database off the LinkedIn platform.
· Zapier - which is a great tool that helps you connect Click Funnels with Active Campaign.
Step 1: Send your invitation out on LinkedIn
Keep your invitation short and sharp. Something like:
Don’t use this message to sell. Just start the conversation. No need to ask people to buy anything; a simple invitation is a lot more palatable than being sold to.
Next, set up a few templates to make it quick easy to respond, depending on the reply you receive. Here are a few ideas (just put them into your own words):
- Not interested
- Interested
- Not sure
- Yes - but I need more details
- What’s the cost?
- Missed your webinar
Keep it casual rather than demanding. You want the prospect to feel that they can come if they are available - but they’ll miss out on some valuable info if they don’t.
Step 2: Create your slides
Ideally, plan your presentation in 15-20 slides. Be sure to use plenty of images and minimal text: your slides are visual prompts and reminders only.
The entire webinar should take no more then 40-50 minutes.
Here’s what you should include (try to keep to this slide order if possible):
· TITLE: How to do X to get Y (To go from problem to solution or to achieve a benefit).
· WELCOME: Show your product with subtle promotion e.g. in a background image - subconsciously planting the seed that this stuff works in the real world (we use influencer logos, for instance).
· BIG QUESTION: Ask what would you like to have answered today (in relation to the webinar topic)? Get your audience to respond so you know they’re following. This will also give you content to address at the end of the webinar.
· AGENDA: Show the points that you’re going to cover. You’ll know the FAQs of your target audience - choose 3 or 4 main questions.
· PROOF: Take your audience through a 3-stage model of how your product or service works (use a triangle?). This simplifies and breaks down the info for people in easy-to-understand, visual terms: people like diagrams.
· 3 PHASES: Take people through the phases you mention in the model above. For us it would be Connect, then Engage, then Convert.
· EXPLAIN PHASE 1 with a POWER STATEMENT: e.g. “Community equals opportunity”. Then back it up with a stat for proof.
· EXPLAIN PHASE 2 with a POWER STATEMENT: e.g. “People won’t show interest unless you ask” - with proof/statistics.
· EXPLAIN PHASE 3 with a POWER STATEMENT: e.g. “People won’t buy unless you sell” - with proof/statistics.
· CREATE THE GAP: Ask people where they are now and where they’d like to be. Ask questions to create the gap if they’re unsure e.g. “If you could get finance for a new $200K project tomorrow, what would that look like?” Elicit information and note their responses.
· LIVE DEMO: Interview someone and have a live chat to warm attendees up for the Q&A section at the end.
· CASE STUDY: Show the results of using your model/project using a real client. Link this back to the initial promises you gave.
· OPEN FOR Q&A: Open the floor and encourage questions. This will help you demonstrate authority and raise believability.
Step 3: Follow-up
Create two basic templates for automating follow up with attendees or non-attendees (put the following into your own words):
- For those that didn’t attend:
- For those that did attend:
Q&A Webinars can be pure gold - few of your competitors will be offering free resources like this. They could really put you on the map.
Webinars will also help you scale your business by nurturing many more leads at a time without it impacting too much on your daily schedule; and they are great tools for starting conversations and reducing “sales resistance” from leads.
You now have everything you need to get started. The more you do, the easier they get!
P.s. Whenever you’re ready… here are 3 ways I can help you grow your business with LinkedIn
1. Join the Influencer Boardroom and connect with other advisors and consultants who are scaling too: It’s our new Facebook community where smart advisors and consultants learn to generate more purpose, profit and power. - Click Here
2. Join Our Implementation Program and be a Case Study: I’m putting together a new consulting case study group inside The Influencer Project this month… stay tuned for details. If you’d like to work with me on your client-getting and business growth plans using LinkedIn… just send me a message and put “Case Study” in it and I’ll get you more info.
3. Work with me and my team privately: If you’d like to work directly with me and my team to take you from 6 to 7 figures and level things up… just send me a message and put “Private” in the first line… tell me a little about your business and what you’d like to work on together, and I’ll get you all the details.
