Had a humbling experience at Reva University, Bangalore on 18th of Dec 2023, as I was invited as a Guest of Honour, as well as to give a talk on "Threats and Challenges in Cyber Security"

Use of Data Science in Cyber Security - A Practical Approach

It is always good to get back to the teaching fraternity and learn while we share our industry experience.

Happy that I could spend and have some good discussions focused on user Data and their extensive usage patterns in Social Engineering Attacks.

We also touch based on user of applied data science and machine learning to improve Cybersecurity and continued to discuss the process of Analytics in Cybersecurity, along with the Data collection process, types of data collected, and also the Data preprocessing process, before being consumed for analysis.

We also discussed Anomaly Detection in Cybersecurity and focused on the Behavioural anomaly detection and how it helps in real-time detection of Cybersecurity threats.

We concluded with the Machine Learning Use Cases in Cybersecurity:
