In my previous sessions with my AI bot helping me launch a new side hustle from my skills. We narrowed down the business idea to something in Public Speaking and Communication.?
As the AI bot says:?
“With Dan's experience as a TEDx speaker and in various communication roles, he is well-equipped to create digital products like e-books or online courses on effective public speaking, presentation skills, or personal branding. These offerings could help individuals enhance their communication skills and foster their professional development.”
It also reminded me that?
“Dan should consider the target audience and market demand for each niche before deciding on the right niche area for his digital products. Additionally, conducting thorough market research and assessing competition could prove beneficial in refining the niche selection further."
So this was the plan for the AI named project Creative Synergy Works. A name chosen by the AI that highlights collaboration and combining elements of carefully curated content and best-of-breed digital products to create unique, impactful solutions for clients.
I was not 100% taken on the name, and nor the target demographic first chosen by the AI, which is where we fell out and I learnt a valuable lesson in prompt writing but also understanding the limitations of the AI at the present time.?

But where we didn’t fall out was with the understanding that my first task was to assess the demand, potential profitability, and target audience for such digital products. So I had to conduct market research, do some surveys, and start some polls to gain insights into my target audience's interests, preferences, and content consumption habits.
This was done over the last week. And we ascertained that the target audience was much more likely to be women than men. They were more likely to be professionals than entrepreneurs. They were likely to be older - around 42 - rather than younger. And so in this session I asked the AI to write a marketing persona for the target audience.?

From this we know we now need to market to them. And develop a targeted digital marketing strategy using social media, content marketing, and email marketing, specifically for my? business idea on a tight budget and limited to 6 hours of work per week. So I asked:?

In summary, focus on LinkedIn and Facebook for social media marketing, create and promote valuable content through your blog and guest posting, and engage with your audience through targeted email campaigns. By allocating 2 hours per week to each of these marketing channels, you can effectively reach and engage with older professional women aged 37-42, making more than 60K a year.
This session also reminded me about my competition:?
Doing a basic search through Bing I found out that the cost of Public Speaking courses in the UK ranges. As the average cost price of the course ranges from £140 to £500. Whilst the average duration of the course is 1-2 days. The actual depths of different courses can last from 1 week up to 9 weeks. It seems to be a mixture of offline and online courses. With the online variety starting off at £12 for less than an hour's worth of material to up to £99 for more than 20 hours worth.?
And so like my market research results showed the course HAS to be a mixture of online and offline. With some peer to peer learning, some networking, some face to face events at the end, and the creation of a community of like minded people. With my coaching help on top.?
What’s my USP going to be??
It has to link into my expertise, my Tech-savvy approach, my engaging style, with personalised guidance in an accessible format.
From my own market research I knew that people wanted a community based mobile accessible portal with a mixture of inspirational talks by others, some takedowns and breakdowns of why those talks work so well, maybe a safe space to chat about public speaking but definitely a safe space to practise and get support around speaking and doing talks, and of course, the course itself which would have all the top tips and content therein.?
I could purposefully be quite narrow with this approach but from other people’s sites I could now see how this idea moved into many different subjects close to my heart such as confidence building, NLP, fighting limiting beliefs, body language and all sorts.?

According to Daniel Priestly you need 7 hours of content and a variety of things to have a digital product. One of those is a gift for people. The ebook therefore fits into the gifts part of the idea rather than as a sellable asset in itself. The ebook acts as that lead magnet.?
I would then have to create a Product for Prospects (P4P) as Daniel Priestly would call it. A lower-cost product aimed at introducing prospects to the world of public speaking. So a mini-course as a series of instructional videos. Covering the basics of public speaking.?
However, my core product would have to be the comprehensive digital course. Which would cover all aspects of public speaking.? Especially online. From structuring a captivating speech to mastering body language and effectively using visual aids.?
Added to this are live workshops or masterclasses where users can receive: personalised coaching, feedback, and tips in an online group environment.?
And then a Members-Only Community which would facilitate networking, peer feedback,and ongoing support. From everyone that came on my course.?
And then the final part we would offer one-on-one coaching or consultation services for clients who wish to have a tailored learning experience. These sessions will focus on the specific needs of individual clients, providing customised guidance to help them excel in their public speaking endeavours.
