Framework Manager @ Servo Group | Project Coordination, Stakeholder Management, Social Values Liaison
It’s no secret that here at Servo Group we follow a ‘one team’ mentality. Signified by continued interdepartmental working, and colleague collaboration. I shared in a previous article about the benefits of all voices being heard, and ideas shared openly – from this we have intertwined the workings of both the Sales and Bids Teams.
Account management is key in our operations and delivery model, and insight from both regional staff and indeed our ‘Subject Matter Experts’ has truly seen a significant uplift in wins across the Public Sector platform.
Regional Knowledge – Having members of staff who both work and live in the areas of which we are bidding can identify key requirements, specifically with regards to Social Values. Having this insight of what would truly benefit local communities, be it an uplift in employment, a reduction in carbon, engagement or a more in depth approach to behavioural trends leading to the requirement of our services is now an inherent practice. Having this panoramic view of more than just a tender has seen Servo Group understanding but importantly truly making a positive impact in the areas in which we work. Often we showcase our accreditation portfolio, which is only so prevalent thanks to fantastic collaboration such as this.

Subject Matter Experts – Training is a prominent factor across the board at Servo. We understand that a free flow of information and insight into our products and services to all staff members ensures that anyone is able to fully express our provision and offering. This truly negates a typical hierarchy and enables everyone to give perspective on how we can achieve best practice. All staff are encouraged to request additional training be it as part of their role, or for interest purposes. This has seen great uptake and provided us with Subject Matter Experts in each department. Not only is this of benefit when putting together tender documentation, but has seen continued staff retention, with the in house ability to train from within.
In prominent place in HQ is our vast array of accreditations, highlighting the continued good work of the Group as a whole. As we come to the end of our first quarter of 2024, we can confirm KPI’s across contracts are being met and indeed exceeded, this provided excellent case studies and reference for our upcoming tenders and potential future clients!
