Serving the Future: Crisis Response

We are at a time of profound global transformation. We are confronted by rising catastrophic and existential risks.... Yet this is also a moment of hope and opportunity." -?The Pact for the Future

Faced with unpredictable, complex crises, from global pandemics to natural disaster and armed conflict, UNGSC is a trusted partner in rapid response. Building on 30 years of experience with field operations, we are increasingly called upon to mobilize the necessary supply chain and digital technology support, even in unprecedented circumstances.

Whether providing essential equipment such as armored vehicles, personal protective equipment, or prefabricated modular structures to UN entities on the ground following major earthquakes, tracing road networks and buildings in the aftermath of floods, dispatching convoys and ensuring communication capabilities in conflict zones, or using crisis analytics to provide key information on evolving high-risk situations, UNGSC is playing a pivotal role.

“In times of crisis, no matter how daunting the task, our staff can be counted on to step up to the challenge with expertise, energy, and empathy. Working together with partners across the UN system and with a range of stakeholders, we can find solutions and provide support where and when it’s needed most.” Giovanna Ceglie, Director, UNGSC
