Serving Aviation and Defence- Role of Processes and KPIs

Being in an industry that is extremely sensitive to variables such as time, quality and cost, it is important and often challenging to maintain the service with 100% accuracy, because serving to industries like aviation and defence, a smaller gap in the service could become devastating . It would not be exaggeration to say that what may qualify as best of service and delivery in other industries, may turn out to be the basic and minimum for aviation and defence. Therefore as we navigate the day to operations, increasing efficiency, reducing turn around times and at the same time ensuring that the optimum standards for quality are met, defining and following strict processes becomes paramount. These processes in turn become our guide to help us navigate the most challenging of situations with ease.

A simple yet a powerful component of setting up processes is defining KPI's that is Key Performance Indicators. During setting up of processes, defining measurable KPIs goes a long way, setting correct expectations for output and delivery not only helps to ensure the standards are met, but also helps to identify any gaps what so ever right in the beginning, increasing efficiency.

-When it comes to achieving goals a meaning ful KPIs can really do wonders.

-It provides Clarity, direction and the motivation to keep pushing forward."
