Job Overview:

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that the ICT system integrator meets the agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, manages a team of desktop, system, network or helpdesk engineers, onboards services and equipment, maintains customer relationships, identifies operational gaps, reports on service performance, and acts as a bridge between clients and internal teams. The Service Delivery Manager will also be responsible for working on budgeting for projects, ensuring delivery as per planned budget, driving service delivery for assigned accounts, and updating key stakeholders on daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage SLAs with clients, ensuring that service delivery targets are met or exceeded.
  • Manage a team of desktop, system, network, or helpdesk engineers, ensuring that they are delivering services as per the agreed-upon SLAs.
  • Onboard services and equipment, ensuring that they are properly configured and integrated with existing systems.
  • Identify operational gaps and develop plans to address them, working closely with internal teams to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Report on service performance, providing regular updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and addressing any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on service delivery objectives.
  • Work on budgeting for projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within the planned budget.
  • Drive service delivery for assigned accounts, ensuring that all deliverables are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Oversee project implementations, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Update key stakeholders on daily operational activities, providing regular updates on service delivery and project progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a service delivery management role for an ICT system integrator.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to achieve objectives.
