Service celebrates Christmas 2023
As many people are taking down Christmas trees and packing away decorations, we're looking back at memories of this special time of year.?
With many of our staff working across the festive period, the Christmas cheer was certainly brought to work! However, despite the time of year, our staff continued to work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.
Over the 2023 Christmas period (24/12 - 26/12) we had:?
Pictured above is Nailsea's annual Christmas picture.?
Our staff also shared some of their festive antics:
From Chew Magna:?
Our crew from Chew Magna were humbled to attend the Chew Valley Christmas Eve Tractor Express.
The Chew Valley Tractor Express this year was in memory of well- known Chew resident Ami Millard who sadly passed away during the latter part of this year. Donations raised this year will be used to provide bespoke bereavement training in the local schools giving them the skills and confidence they need to support grieving children and young people in their care and also to support the work of St Peters Hospice.
From Yate:
Crews from Yate were delighted to run alongside the community in celebration at the Chipping Sodbury Christmas Day Parkrun.
What a way to kick off Christmas Day!?
From Clevedon:
A big shout out to everyone who took part in the Boxing Day run this year.?
A special mention to firefighters Henry, Ross, Ash, Scott and Tom who ran it in fire kit and breathing apparatus in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity.
From Bath:
Crews attended the Bath Fit Fam Christmas Eve Run Club! They were also called to a rather festive church on a false alarm.
