T - Minus 18 Days
It seems too warm at 43 degrees. Spike barked in excitement for his treat before Eye of the Tiger. Maybe dogs like humans start to revert to their childhood actions as they get older? For some reason my favorite game as a kid, Stratego, came to mind.
It wasn't endless or random and like chess there were myriad strategies of attack with deception. The best approach was to attack and defend at the same time. You placed higher ranking pieces spread throughout along with haphazard bombs to protect the flag which was neither right in the back middle row or a corner. Moves were limited to 30 seconds and if you played well, your general could menacingly roam until breaking to advance and capture the flag.
Most people dive into Monday aimlessly responding to e-mail and downing caffeine which both just amp their emotions with nothing of real value getting accomplished. My Monday is mainly status and action items for Delta, Pipeline, and the Board. If everyone would only use e-mail for setting appointments and encrypted deliverables, then the whole world would have a great day.
