Serious Sentiments (and embedded Alphabet Soup) on this Sacred Armistice Day: Peace ?

Today, we honor, remember, and reflect on the sacrifices and service of those men and women — alive or with the ancestors and ages — who have taken oaths and served the United States Armed Forces .

?

Such individuals have been the trailblazing force that created this nation — in the Revolutionary War, expanded the nation — in the Mexican-American War and Spanish-American War, corrected and defended the nation — in the Civil War, evangelized and protected democracy — in the Great War (WWI), World-War II, and many others.??

?

As a US Navy Ambassador, I thank each known and unknown veteran of our country who has been an instrument of access, blessings, comfort, democracy, equality, freedom, greater good, honor, intelligence, justice, kindness, liberty, and more for so many.

?

Having served as an agent of the state, public educator and chief officer — warring against ignorance for my entire adulthood, deploying many assets, teaching many books, biographies, and beliefs, serving many children and communities didactically with discipline and dedication, not once have I had to engage here or on enemy soil to fight external foes for our future and freedoms with guns and hand-grenades for the sake of my homeland and some hope for my community or kind.??

?

Yet and still, present situations position us — and more than just US — in the middle of major geopolitical wars impacting our world, fierce bombardments of culture wars, info-wars and misinformation and disinformation wars, and amongst the worst cases of pandemic and psychological warfare of humankind. As such, one of my life-mission-mottos still resonates with keen clarity:? educate, lead, and live as if our life, legacy, and liberty depend on it because they do.

?

To be clear, I am against war and deeply dedicated to diplomacy. But when diplomacy is forcefully not an option and another war seemingly inevitably starts, God knows we need every just and good force to bring it to an end. So, on this historical Armistice Day anniversary of 11-11-2023, I sincerely salute all who have paid some price to be creative veterans of that good force — true guardians of #peace and justice (or real Jedis). Let's increasingly align with that force.

May that force exponentially be with you!

?Happy Veteran's Day 2023! We pray for peace!

Congratulations to All who've served and are serving as the fight goes on!!!
