Dear Readers,

Our office recently listed an apartment this week which contains, in its construction materials, cladding that is not suitable for fire protection under new laws.

Upon further research into this matter we located this article whereby 1400 buildings in Victoria alone have been labelled as 'below standard' and in one case the cost to an owner for repairs is $60,000.

Well worth a read as I believe we will see many more buildings slapped with an order for rectification.
