SEQUENCING CONTENT ACCURATELY
I start my day sequencing all that is to happen today. All of the things that I personally have to make happen. I chose to research for my tour. Logistics are important. And its one thing to write things down, in order. But theory and application are two totally different things. I wrote in my agenda that I; for one, had to do the logistics research myself. The issue was finding out or getting clarity on what are the specifics of my pricing. All live shows have expenses. For me, they are variable. Therefore, I had to take control.
In the same way, when I pursued purchasing a private jet; tough changes had to be made. For one, it forced my format. Some jets seat 5 and some 6. There is a huge difference between a five seater and other bigger planes. The pricing grows exponentially. When I say formatting, I mean it forces you to a comprehensible standard.
All of my aircraft selections have up to, a two pilot operation capacity. So a five seater, has only a 6th available one, if one pilot is missing. Meaning just to add one seat, I'd hire one less pilot for that flight. Here is the variable. Well, If I fly the plane myself, then I'd free up my seat, and I could host my copilot chair. That is not the best for business. Another option is to buy two small baby jets, fly mine and let my brother fly his. I could carry 5+1 and he could as well. For a total of 10-12 max capacity.
There is a problem here. I am the artist. I have to rest in between shows. I may have to rest between flights. The pilots job is to handle that for me.
There is an option to buy a slightly bigger jet. But, it only seats 6. To have a plus 1, we would be down a pilot as well. NO way. The vision jet is $2.5-$3.5 million. Only seats 5. My HondaJet is $5.5+ million dollars and seats 6. The difference. $2-$3,000,000.00 million dollars for me. Plus yearly costs doubled. The vision jet costs me about $375,000.00 each year. The HondaJet is closer to $700,000.00+. All for 1 extra seat.
These building stones, tame my creative mind. IN a positive way. Decision one is simple. The vision Jet seats 5. With two pilots. So I am the +1. I can only have a staff of 4 that travel with me. 1 is my personal assistant and advisor. My older brother is my business partner and manager. He also has a secretary. That only leaves 1 extra person that could travel with me. There it is. If I aim to build a creative, and professional environment; I have to remain a pro. So no fufu. No extra nonsense. We are a team of four. Plus my two pilots. The extra seat is for whomever we are doing business with. But if its not an essential component, it will not be traveling with us.
In my research I had to make similar decisions. So when I did, everything changed. I looked at what they call packages. I looked at air fares. I looked at hotels. And I secured a tour bus; all on my own. Challenge number one, was that one airport closed down, in and within the market where I am scheduled to perform. I am down from 5 airports, to four. In a similar fashion, that changes everything.
I could no longer fly in between the remaining flights; directly. I now had to fly out of the country, to connect in between locations. So I fly out from Italy to New York. From there to Miami. Then to The Dominican Republic. Land. Fuel. Rest. Eat. Rehearse. Sound check. Then interviews, press tours on the radio plus live talk shows. Then film the music video. Shower. Rest. Eat. Then head out to my live performance, in hopes that my staff already went to pick up my wardrobe. So that I have that time saved, and everything is already ironed and pressed.
I locked in the venue. And made the business assessment. This place holds about 400 clients. Great. My hotel is in the middle of the city, because it has an Olympic style pool, and a complementary breakfast. I had to sacrifice the beachfront property to save on added food pricing/costs. I secured the tour bus. It's a 13 passager. +1 is the driver. So a total of 14.
That is formatted the same as selecting the jet. If there are 4 of us, I have 7 open seats. Although in my budgeting I always account for 6 people. Because I may start with the Vision Jet, but my clear goal is the HondaJet. During a performance each one of us has a private, personal body guard. Four seats taken. Format. You see? Hard choices have to be made. 6-10 of us, my driver is the 11th. That leaves 2-3 seats. One or two people from the press, and one open chair for anyone we are doing business with. Like the promoter, or concert owner/club owner.
Bigger concerts require double the security. 6-8 of my dancers would be in their own tour bus. Again. I was forced to format.
The issue with flying is clear. To connect from airport to airport, in the island I'd have to charter a private jet. Not my own. To fly those short distances. The costs are 16x what it would cost me to fly my own jet. The best option is to fly out of the country on a major airliner. Then to offset the added expenses, and loss of income; I'd perform where my flight connects. So land in DR on Friday. Perform. Fly out that evening towards Puerto Rico. Perform there. Then fly back; redeye. I'd have to secure a rental car in PR, and a new hotel. Even if only for a day. Same day travel is expensive.
Now I can leave for the capital, after my concert in PR. But now I can land in the second city of Santiago. Perform there. Fly back out to Columbia. Perform there. Hotel. Rental bus. The exact same thing. Then fly back to DR. Perform. And fly back out to Europe.
My costs were close to $15,000.00 each stop. At a venue that holds about 300. Each ticket has to be $100-$200.00 to make sense. This is the goal I had. I needed a formatted figure of the per ticket price. This created this article and the class I taught today.
More content organically, granted to you all. But all of the valuable data points, only benefit my own company and all of my investments.

This is how good deals happen. I can price all of my requests, in real time, in today's market value. I took those figures and added a 40% profit margin. That gave me my final black smith price. Lets use the ticket price, at $60.00. To sit closer it is $100.00 and it includes 2 beers. Each beer is $18.75. Then, to get a table together; it is $140.00. By the time they tip the waiter/bottle girl $45.00-$60.00+, we reach our goal of $200.00.
Our black smith number is $200.00.
When we set our high end goals, we focus on all of these variables. The promoter has to make a profit. The owner of the venue has to make a profit. The promotion company has to make a profit. Even the bottle girl/servers have to make a profit; through tips. The bar back gets 25% of the tips. The bellman/doorman gets tips, as well as security. I have to also have an added bonus for my staff, for every job well done. That may be social media content creation or securing of any side endorsement deals.
Let's say that I am in Mexico. And a local taco restaurant is looking to film a commercial slot. Let's say my staff reaches out, intuitively on their own. And they secure the contract. In which we make an additional $2,000.00 during our stay/press tour. Now to reward my team, I give them 30% of gross. Meaning a one day bonus of $600.00. And a nice dinner at a prestigious restaurant; as my thank you.
Maybe I'd rent them an exotic sports car for that evening. I would take them shopping. Anything I could to keep everyone happy. I believe in a happy culture in my company.
This served as a baseline for my podcast and my online classes. I finished the podcast. I released it and promoted it. Then I finished the class. I released it and promoted it. Now I am just about done with this editorial. The video is now linked below for your convenience. When I proof read the article, I will release it on Twitter Spaces. Remember that my goal was to separate my podcast, from my Twitter. Mostly due to technical difficulties, but it also provided an opportunity to create an all new podcast there. My weeks review, will be held on my Whats App podcast.
Each one of these elements are part of my brand. I released two albums in the last two days. I have a recording session shortly after this. That is a completely separate product all on its own.
My first offer is always my best offer. Markus Limones. One of my inspirations. I feel the same way. All of this energy has created this synergy, because everything has been sequenced and formatted. These are things that creatives types; such as myself are challenged with. Only when I gave it profound thought, did I realize that my dilemma was only a conceptual one; not a reality of my current situation.
I was forced to look into making things work with only 5 seats, in order to save $3,000,000.00 dollars. Then, by calculating exactly what I needed to function, I realized that all I need is my lawyer whom is also my personal assistant. My brother whom is my business partner. His personal advisor and our secretary. She handles all of the tightening of any loose ends. When I realized that every person in my staff plays multiple roles, I actually had an extra seat. I was not missing one.
Although I am an artist and an entrepreneur, I am also an educator and mentor to millions online. Some are my fans. But most have their own brands, products and services. While I wrote this article, I have been taking a business class online and I have been also listening in, to a few audio books. Almost time to eat, and exercise. Then shower. Prayers. Family time and then back to the recording studio.
The master has gotten the best lesson. I read. I wrote. I typed. I researched. I learned. And I taught. Plus, I connected with you all. In one swift move. I even taught on how I sequenced and formatted all of my wild, and beautiful creative thoughts.
I have to think outside of what is my comfort zone. All of these new languages that I am speaking, is exactly how this new generation communicates. Some learn by audio. Some by visuals. Some by reading. Some by actually writing. I have delivered in each part of the spectrum. I have connected in each possible method available.
I am an artist. And to brake the mold, I have to show you all that an artist, can be a smart business man. No one in the music industry is ready, by any measure for the amazing business man, that I am. I have more years educating myself, and I have created more music than 99% of them. With my NFT collection alone, I own Polygon. Lol. You never saw that coming huh?
No need to worry. If I did. I would never tell you. Remember. I am an artist. I have to shock you every once and a while to get your attention.
Traveling in my private helicopter is now a necessity. Before, I thought it would be a luxury. It may seem like that from a far. But in reality, the more business you conduct, the more time becomes a value. And you have to travel to expand your brand. You have to shake hands, carry babies and kiss old ladies. You have to touch the people whom you want to connect with. There is nothing like hand to hand combat.
I shake everyone's hands. I give out my business cards. And I request everyone's business cards. We are here to connect. In order to connect, all your elements have to be sequenced and formatted.
Just like this.
