SEQUENCE OF SERVICE IN RESTURANT
As soon as the guest enters our restaurant then:
The host : “ very good afternoon sir / mam , how many of you for dinner tonight .”
The guest : “4 of us.”
The host : “please welcome , we have table for 4 .”
As the host directs the guests towards their table then,
The host : “ hope you have a delightful dining experience with us “.
Then the section captain
The section captain : “ hi, sir / mam. Good afternoon .”
Hands over them the menu cards .
The section steward : “ good afternoon sir / mam “
Place water glasses on the table .
The section captain : to the guest : “ hope you are ready with your order ,”
After the order is placed by the guest then,
The section captain : “ may I repeat your order , you have ordered for ……., thank you .shall I place your order .”
Then the steward who is doing food pick comes in action :
Runner { food pick } : as he comes with the food :
“ good afternoon sir / mam , Tuscan style tomato soup .”
Soon after the guests finish up with their main course .then the captain goes to suggest the signature desserts .
The section captain : “ hope we have satisfied your appetite , “ then he will say the statement which are provided to them for upselling the desserts .
After the guests finished the having desserts follow up for the same by captain :
The section captain : ” I hope you have liked our signature dessert “.
When the final bill is presented to the table then
