From the 1st to the 10th of #September, the #businessjet and turboprop sectors slid 4% YoY but soared 19% above 2019 figures. The commercial airline sector presents an intriguing image: an overall 15% hike from last year, yet 5% below 2019's levels. Top players, including Southwest Airlines , American Airlines , Delta Air Lines , Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline , and United Airlines , are cruising 7% above 2020, a solid 12% advancement over 2019. On the cargo front, there's been a 13% dip since last September, narrowly outpacing 2019 by 1%.
Europe
Week 36 highlighted a 6% fall in business jet sectors from the previous week, and an 8% decline YoY. In a month-to-date comparison for #Europe, #bizjet activity lags 6% behind last year but trumps 2019 by 12%. The European panorama is a mixed bag: #Germany's bizjet departures trail September 2022 by 12% and September 2019 by 9%. Meanwhile, #Spain stands 4% above last year, with the 3UK lagging by 8%. #Airport activity brings Le Bourget to the limelight, with departures up 1% from 2022 and a commendable 16% over 2019. Conversely, both #Nice and Luton are down 9% YoY, with #Geneva dipping 4% below 2019.
North America

Week 36 came with a 13% surge from the prior week, placing it 3% ahead YoY. The entire month saw a 4% drop from 2022 but boasts a robust 21% edge over 2019. Specific hubs like Teterboro Airport , Las Vegas McCarran , Westin Washington Dulles Airport , and Westchester County Airport experienced setbacks, ranging from -6% to -12% YoY. In contrast, Van Nuys Airport and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) are slightly ahead.
Asia
Asia's business jet domain is humming, standing 16% above September 2022 and a whopping 57% over 2019. India leads the pack this month, running 21% above last year with triple-digit growth compared to 2019. #China too sees a bustling scene, outdoing its 2019 figures. With nearly 300 active aircraft this month, Bombardier is the region's busiest OEM.
Middle East
The business aviation scene here is upbeat, 5% ahead of last year and a remarkable 49% over 2019. There's a catch though. #Israel and #Cyprus are trailing, with departures down by 6% and 15% respectively. Conversely, #SaudiArabia and #UAE are zooming ahead, both showing double-digit growth compared to 2019. The heavy and ultra-long-range jet sectors dominate, with bizliners trailing both YoY and 2019 figures.
