11 Sept... the exciting first day of school (in Romania)!

No, this article is not about this morning's traffic, and I hope that you all enjoyed either the opening festivities, or the quietness of working from home, it's about new beginnings, and how difficult they can be.

Starting a new job can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. It's a fresh beginning filled with opportunities, but it also comes with a learning curve and the desire to make a positive impression from day one.

To help you thrive during your first days in a new job, I've put together some tips to help you settle in more easily.

Navigating Your First Days in a New Job

• Prepare Ahead of Time: familiarize yourself with any materials provided by the employer, prepare some questions to address them during your onboarding, do more research about the company, connect on LinkedIn with those you met during the recruitment process.
• Be on time: punctuality is a sign of professionalism and reliability. Even if the collaboration is remote, it is important even in the online environment to log in on time, to have a neat outfit, to open your camera, show enthusiasm for meeting new colleagues and be open to forming connections. Remember, networking within the organization can lead to valuable opportunities down the road.
• Listen and Learn: during your initial days, focus on listening more than speaking. Pay close attention during meetings and when your colleagues are explaining procedures or processes. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you need clarification but try to absorb as much information as possible before seeking help. Do not assume that you already know how things are done, even if you have experience, learn the specifics of the company.
• Take Notes: note the most important information, names, and key points. This will not only help you remember crucial details but also demonstrate your dedication to learning and adapting to your new role.
• Set Realistic Expectations: understand that you won't become an expert in your new role overnight. It's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed during the first few days. Set realistic expectations for yourself, and don't be too hard on yourself if you make minor mistakes or need time to adjust.
• Ask and Offer Feedback: seek feedback from your supervisor and colleagues. It's a great way to show your commitment to improvement and your desire to excel in your new role. Constructive feedback can help you refine your skills and perform better. Don't be afraid to give feedback, especially if things are not according to your expectations.Finally, don't forget to take care of your physical and mental well-being during this transition. Starting a new job can be emotionally draining, so ensure you get enough rest and find time for relaxation.

In this role you will take care of our website, which is vast and constantly changing. The portfolio is important, but equally important is the fit with the team. We are a recently formed team, diverse, looking for a communicative, proactive and problem-solving new member.

This role may suit you if you have experience with several Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, SAFe), and if you differentiate between PM and Scrum Master roles. PI planning requires travel (every quarter), but you will have time to work qualitatively, since you will not be managing big teams at the same time.

We take care of a legacy Windows service application (payment solution), minimum 3 years in a senior role is require in order to be able to ensure its stability, functionality, and performance.

It is mandatory to have previously worked with the Azure ecosystems, as a full stack developer, coding in C# language, with .Net framework.
