Behind The Scenes At Broadsword

Time flies when you're event planning! Throughout September Team Broadsword has been around the world delivering events for our clients in cities including London, Birmingham, Singapore, Shenzen, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and most recently Liverpool for the Labour Party's Annual Conference. The five day conference welcomed more than 20,000 delegates in the party's biggest conference to date.

All that hard work has been paying off ...

?? We're a finalist for Agency Of The Year at The EVCOM London Live and Film Awards

?? We've been shortlisted for Agency Of The Year by The Meetings Industry Association.

It is incredible to get this recognition for our team, and they would be over the moon if we won. Help us by voting for Broadsword here.

Strategy Takes Centre Stage

In September, Broadsword directors Anna and Matt had the chance to share their insights into the changing world of events at both the CN Agency Leaders' Summit and EVCOM's September Senior Leaders' Breakfast. Anna spoke about why agencies must avoid stagnancy, the responsibility of leaders to set up frameworks for change, and how we are working towards a better tomorrow for people and planet.

Matt shared his insight into global trends and opportunities within emerging markets at CN's event. Whilst at EVCOM's event, he moderated a panel of industry leaders discussing the importance of ongoing value creation and innovation within the events sector.

One theme was abundantly clear. That success comes from being prepared, constantly learning, and staying ahead of the curve.
