"A September to Remember: Lessons from Leading and Learning"

The truth is, I’ve been quiet for a while because life has been full of transitions. Over the past two years, I’ve gone from leading a small team of 10 to managing a workforce of over 400 at times. This shift has expanded my responsibilities and exposed me to new challenges, perspectives, and #worldviews that have shaped who I am today.

But before this, We Are Oasis started as a simple thought—a passing idea about how businesses could do more by focusing on what they do best while letting a dedicated team handle the rest. That thought became a conversation, the kind of late-night talk with friends and mentors that plants the seed of something bigger. Soon, that conversation turned into an idea, a vision of building a company that would connect businesses with top talent and create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals.

Now, as I reflect on the impact We Are Oasis is making, I am filled with pride. We’re not just providing outsourcing services but empowering businesses to scale, succeed, and change lives by creating jobs. Every day, I’m reminded of the ripple effect this has on the people we hire, the businesses we partner with, and the communities we touch.

As my role has grown, so has my exposure to different ways of thinking—across industries, cultures, and borders. This has broadened my understanding of the world and deepened my commitment to continuous learning. Every new experience reminds me that there’s always more to learn, more ways to grow, and more to give.

Along the way, I’ve made incredible partners, friends, and people who have supported me through the highs and the lows. Growth, as we all know, can be bittersweet. I’ve also had to say goodbye to some relationships, and that’s been a tricky part of the process. But I’m grateful for everyone who’s been a part of this journey, and I carry the lessons I’ve learned from them.

I reflect on what we’ve built at We Are Oasis in moments of doubt. Our impact and the lives we’re changing fuel my passion. Every time I witness our team's growth and our client's success, I know we’re on the right path. My commitment to this vision is stronger than ever.

The future holds even more possibilities, and I’m excited for what’s next.
