September reflections

I love September. It’s my favourite month of the year: kids returning to school (thank goodness), re-establishing routines (show me a lawyer who doesn’t like routine), and crisp clear days to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. 

September is also the month that, 4 years ago, Tiggy and I established Torque Law.  The time’s passed in a blur but I still recall pulling into the car park at our office on the first morning with no clients and no work, but with an overwhelming feeling of excitement and anticipation for the next phase in our careers. 

Having enjoyed some well-needed time off over the summer and paused to reflect on what we’ve achieved in those years, the overwhelming feeling I have is one of pride. But, I’m still excited. Excited about the next phase in the Firm’s development, for Torque Law has evolved in those four years and is no longer the ‘Tiggy and Emma show’, but a team of brilliant and approachable employment specialists, to rival any other in Yorkshire, with integrity at our core. Delivering superior quality as standard, we have teamed up with some of the most prominent businesses and business leaders in Yorkshire in the last 12 months, and given them support and strength in equal measure, often at a time of crisis.  And that’s when we’re at our best. For we often say that if we can’t make the headache go away completely, we’ll certainly make our clients’ lives easier by taking the pain out of a difficult situation.

With further exciting growth plans in the pipeline, Team Torque is on a roll and I, for one, am very excited!
