Recently, the business took time to reflect on our achievements as we made plans for the last quarter of 2023, and we started to think about 2024.? Our success this year is largely a result of strategies we put in place back in 2020 when COVID-19 demanded it.? It is also because of our incredible team who put in the hard work and make sure our projects are delivered to a high standard.? No business is plain sailing though, as the summer brought with it the usual seasonal challenge of increased temperatures in the factory.? Thankfully, our comfort was eased due to the investment earlier in the year of additional outdoor space to work in, as well as a supply of ice cream here and there!

Given another record order intake in the past financial year, further growth is planned for the coming months, both in terms of staff and workspace so watch this space for those developments.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURES?

Noise pollution is an increasingly troublesome issue in the modern world, but acoustic enclosures can help reduce the problem. THE MAGIC OF THE ATTENUATOR

Whilst the humble sound attenuator may be a relatively simple product, it carries a degree of complexity in its design.

For many projects, it is not always necessary to fit acoustic treatments around a full piece of packaged plant. A focussed approach, treating the highest noise source can often provide the required acoustic criteria. On this project, we were tasked with treating a hammer mill in an industrial food processing facility. The solution was a partial enclosure around the main noise generator, leaving the drive motor exposed, providing cost savings and ease of maintenance access.

We recently completed the installation of an acoustic screen to a new mixed use residential and community facilities building near Wembley, London. The screen was designed to reduce noise from roof-mounted plant items creating disturbance to nearby residential properties. Our scope of supply included structural steel posts and approx. 80 linear metres of plant screens comprising of powder coated acoustic panelling.
