September 2nd

LS Cable & System?plans to conduct electrical safety inspections for traditional markets ahead of Chuseok, which is one of the biggest holidays in Korea. It will be supplying recently launched *"i-check" system free of charge to offer safety management for traditional markets.

(*"i-check" allows IoT sensors attached to cables to detect malfunctions such as electricity leakages and overheating, to prevent power outages and fires.)

September 6th

LS Cable & System?has officially launched its recycling platform named *“On Drum” from the Google Play Store and App Store in Korea.

(*“On Drum” is the very first open platform that connects demand for the disposal of wooden cable drums used at construction sites.)

As you may already know, the ozone layer is imperative to protect life on Earth from the harmful rays of the Sun. On World Ozone Day, we at?LS Cable & System?would like to introduce our XLPE recycling technologies. We believe that our diverse eco-friendly activities will help keep our planet green and clean with a healthy ozone layer.

LS Group Chairman Koo Ja-eun called on its employees to become futurists to be able to effectively introduce changes in new businesses and digital transformation during the conglomerate's first LS Future Day event held at LS Tower in Korea.

In the new business field, including?LS Cable & System's recycling of waste cables and other six projects were selected as creative ideas to lead the group's future growth. In the technology sector, 9 companies tasks, including?LS Cable & System's ultra-fast charging cable for EVs were selected as R&D cases that created a differentiated competitive advantage.
