September Momentum – Part Deux

Last week’s article discussed three key steps to drive year-end results.? What else can leaders focus on in September to optimize 2024? At P3, we often direct our clients to take these incremental actions:
1.????? Strengthen Customer Relationships. Take the time to connect and engage with your key customers…either by sending a personalized, business-building message, or ideally arranging an in-person visit/meeting to discuss how your customers are doing. Gauge each customer’s satisfaction level with your service, and bravely explore any concerns that need to be addressed. Your current customer base is your most valued company asset. Maintaining strong relationships with these customers takes time and effort from you and your service team. Make sure to listen carefully and response thoughtful (to any concerns) so that every key customer feels heard and well served (lest they look for that elsewhere). Be proactive in understanding those customer satisfaction levels and gaps.?
2.????? Embrace New Opportunities. Evaluate new market opportunities and explore partnership possibilities with an eye towards expanding your service offerings to better meet customers’ needs. Creating more, and highly relevant, added value in the customer experience will make them more “sticky.” Gaining incremental work from existing customers is an effective, and highly efficient way to quickly generate Q4 results. ?
3.????? Prioritize Preparation. Now is an important time to set the strategic foundation for 2025. Identify areas for improvement and growth, then establish a budget that supports both short-term and long-term success. Get those ducks in a row BEFORE Jan 1, 2025.? ??
