Kshema at Les Rendez-Vous de Septembre, Monte Carlo?
Natraj Nukala , Rajeshnani Dasari and C V Kumar represented Kshema at Les Rendez-Vous de Septembre (RVS), the largest conference for reinsurance, brokerage and risk management professionals in the world which took place in the first fortnight.?
Kshema was the only insurance company from India to participate in the 4-day event in Monte Carlo, Monaco which saw the participation of more than 3,000 industry professionals from 80 countries. The Kshema team demonstrated its proprietary Kshema Cognitive Engine which uses near real-time imagery and real-time weather data, historic data, and ground truthing data from farmers combined with proprietary AI algorithms to provide personalised coverage at the farm level, at an affordable price.?
The event is designed for market players to exchange views and discuss a range of key topics, including the upcoming reinsurance treaty renewals which usually culminate on December 31.?
Kshema at the Indian Institute of Insurance HR Summit?
The Indian Institute of Insurance organised a seminar titled “Role of Human Resource Management in Insurance Industry” in Mumbai. Shrikant Wavre and Nirmal Bandi represented Kshema at the seminar.?

Shrikant was part of the panel discussion “Emerging Challenges in Human Resource Management in Insurance Industry” too. He spoke about the importance of shaping insurance industry as the preferred career choice by making it more attractive for younger aspirants and senior professionals. He emphasised the need for human-technology collaboration through a pioneering approach to achieve this. He also said this could set the precedent for other industries while developing strong talent in rural areas at the same time to capitalise and support insurance industry's exponential growth.?
Updates for the Kshema App
The Kshema app saw some more features added to make the consumer journey seamless. These updates include making it easier for farmers to:
This is specifically in the case of a mismatch between the field they mark on the app and the document they submit. They can validate requesting a refund, sum insured increase and acceptance of the terms based on the land records they submitted via a dynamic OTP. Character support for sub-survey numbers has also been increased specifically for farmers who have inherited smaller holdings of land. Meanwhile, village and pin code coverage has also seen an increase.
