Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust
We're working for a wilder Gloucestershire - more wildlife, more wild places and more of us living a wilder life.
Take action on climate change and nature conservation
People all across the UK are already coming together to take action on climate and nature. But we need strong leadership to make even more possible—and that’s where you come in!
On 12th October, we invite you to join thousands of others who are calling on their MPs to champion the climate and nature issues that matter most to them.
Here’s how you can get involved:?
Together we can make sure our MPs take bold steps for people, climate, and nature.

We were hosted by Hartpury College and treated to a suite of excellent talks from a range of experts and practitioners – Severn Treescapes (Will Masefield and Laurence Richards ), Hartpury College (Professor Matt Bell), Ben Raskin from the Soil Association , Joe Hope from Cefn Coch Farm, Andy Dibben from THE ORGANIC FARM SHOP ABBEY HOME FARM LIMITED , a walk and talk with Sara Noons of Gloucestershire County Council and Stuart Searle from Hartpury College, Tom Tame of Warwickshire Walnuts fame, Emma Walker from Forestry Commission and Harriet Bell of Riverford Organic Farmers ! We love working with you guys and love working with landowners who can see the multiple benefits of integrating more trees onto farms, for wildlife and for good farm business. If you’re in the Severn Treescapes area in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire and want to work with us, do get in contact for a free farm visit and advice from our expert advisers.
The Severn Treescapes Project is led by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust , Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and Herefordshire Wildlife Trust , and funded through the Trees Call to Action Fund (TCAF), with complementary support from the Environment Agency .
Annual Wildlife Quiz
We recently held our annual Wildlife Quiz, a tradition dating back to 1976. This year, nearly 400 children from 72 schools participated. The quiz is a fantastic way to incorporate wildlife knowledge into a learning programme, as an after-school club, or simply as a bit of fun for the pupils. This exciting and challenging opportunity is free and open to all primary schools across Gloucestershire. ????
