Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked.  For whatever a man sows he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Galatians 6:7-8 HCSB

God will not be mocked; you cannot play church on Sunday and profess to be a Christian, only to harbor the world in your heart.  When we harbor the world in our heart, we push God from our hearts; when we push God from our hearts, we are not born again in Christ.  In Luke 16:13, Jesus tells us that we cannot have two masters; we cannot have the world and Jesus at the same time.  When we hold onto the strongholds of this world; greed, lust, envy, jealousy, bitterness, anger, pride, hatred, and all demons like them; we are pushing God out of our lives by saying they are more important than He is.  When we invite God fully into our hearts; when we truly believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour; when we are truly born again; when we immerse ourselves in the Scriptures; we fill our bodies with the Holy Spirit and bask in the greatness of the promise of eternal life; we are born again as a child of God.

We must do away with the strongholds of this world, we must accept Jesus Christ as our Lord, Saviour, and MASTER of our lives, we must sin no more.

Accept Jesus Christ as the Master of your life, as your Lord, and proclaim to the world that Jesus lives in you!

This struck a chord with me today. Thanks for reaching out.

Thank you for truth and light. We cannot be "saved" if we are not feasting upon the words of Christ and gain an understanding of those words. The the truth; God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son brings new meaning and life into our daily existence. We cannot feast upon God's word and Not change the way we walk, think, serve; exist.
