All Things Sustainability At Sleek HQ
We’re thrilled to unveil our new Sustainability Page on the Sleek Events website, showcasing our commitment to positive global impact through our core values and long-term strategies. We recognise the challenges of climate change and social inequality and are dedicated to addressing these while creating unforgettable moments. A massive thank you to Gabriella Weekes for leading our sustainability efforts and to The Bulb for their incredible support this year.?
Our August Sustainability Bootcamp concluded with an insightful in-person training session at Techspace in East London, where Selina Donald and Meg Strahle from The Bulb (Part of Trivandi Group) expertly guided us through the dos and don’ts of Sustainable Event Delivery. Their case studies, industry examples, and recommendations for sustainable suppliers were invaluable. We also visited Bywaters , a key recycling supplier for Excel London , to better understand the scale and efficiency of recycling operations. Gabriella’s reflection on the visit highlighted the immense speed and scale of waste processing, and sparked important discussions on improving our on-site waste management.

Team Sleek Takes the World Stage: From Miami to Monaco and Beyond
From a summer of heads-down planning to a whirlwind month of on-the-road delivery, Team Sleek went global, kicking off with a vibrant event in Miami, hosted at the JW Marriott . The two-day conference welcomed over 300 attendees and featured plenary sessions, breakout discussions, an expo hall with approximately 15 partners, and two evening drinks receptions. Our Producer Nicole Page-Champion travelled to Amsterdam for a networking party, held at the charming Boathouse. Meanwhile, another client continued their roadshow in Virginia and Toronto, while most of Team Sleek ventured to Monaco for a whirlwind week of five events. The Monaco events were a true showcase of our team's boundless creativity, from curated tablescapes to choreographed evening entertainment and a Michelin-starred chef, capped off with a spectacular circus-themed night under a big top where every detail dazzled. Back in London, we also executed several dynamic events, rounding off a bustling month of international activity.
