One Day at Christmas 2024
We began the month by pledging our support to One Day at Christmas —an inspiring initiative that's making a remarkable difference in our industry! Last year, thanks to the generosity of event organisers, the initiative raised an impressive ￡80,000, providing a magical day for 1,250 elderly, vulnerable, and lonely individuals.
This year, the committee has set even bigger goals, expanding with two additional venues and aiming to reach 500 more people. You can join us in supporting One Day at Christmas 2024 by pledging your company’s support or making a personal donation of just ￡35, which covers the cost of one meal.

UK Metals Expo
From 09 to 12 September, our Aluminium International Today team proudly attended the UK Metals Expo - The Leading Event for the Entire Metals Supply Chain at the NEC - National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

OFI International 2024
Our Oils & Fats International event took place from 09 to 11 September at the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre , bringing together leading figures from the oils and fats industry. The event featured insightful presentations focusing on sustainability and the future of the sector.
“The OFI International ‘Trade Outlook & Logistics’ forum, alongside the OFI Technical Commercial Conference, exhibition, and the 3rd?Sustainable Vegetable Oil Conference (SVOC), attracted more than 578 attendees from over 40 countries. Held at the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre in the Netherlands on 9-11 September, the event sparked debates on a wide range of topics in the oils and fats sector, including the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which is due to take effect on 30 December this year, and industry experts presented their views on price outlooks.” – Gill Langham , Assistant Editor of OFI.
EN Indy Awards 2024
We are delighted to announce that we've been shortlisted for Employer of the Year at the Exhibition News Indy Awards 2024!
A special congratulations also goes to our very own Lucy Findlay Beale , Event Director of Elevate – the B2B event of physical activity , who has been shortlisted for Best Indy Event Director. ??

MacMillan Coffee Morning
On 25 October, we hosted a delicious MacMillan Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support , raising an impressive ￡140.88 for this fantastic cause.
