September 2024: A Recap of Prismo Metals' Exploration Progress

Welcome to our September 2024 newsletter! We're excited to share the latest updates on our exploration activities, particularly the drilling progress at our Palos Verdes project.

The highlight of this month is undoubtedly the commencement of drilling at Palos Verdes. Our team, in collaboration with our strategic partner Vizsla Silver, has successfully initiated a 1,250-meter first-phase drilling program. The first phase of the program is designed to explore the Palos Verdes vein system below the zone where we previously encountered exceptionally high-grade mineralization, including an intercept of 11,520 g/t AgEq over 0.5 meter. The first hole, PV-24-34, is currently underway, targeting both the Palos Verdes vein and the higher gold-silver vein located approximately 50 meters downdip from previous intersections. By drilling from Vizsla's adjacent property, we're able to achieve better hole geometry and access deeper targets than would be possible from our own concessions. Vizsla's generosity in allowing us to drill from their property, coupled with their team's on-the-ground support, has been instrumental in advancing our exploration efforts at Palos Verdes.

Meanwhile, at Hot Breccia, we continue to advance our understanding of the project's geology and mineralization. The recent acquisition of historical data from Bear Creek Mining (former subsidiary of Kennecott Copper, now part of Rio Tinto) has strengthened our confidence in the project's potential. This data includes a complete log and assays for historical drill hole OC-1, which, unlike our previous partial data, reveals that it intersected not only volcanic rocks but also a significant interval of mineralized quartz diorite porphyry at depth. This porphyry zone includes a mineralized section with encouraging copper grades. Interestingly, one of the breccia fragments near OC-1 returned a high-grade copper assay of 5.69% when we sampled it. We're excited to apply this new knowledge, along with the geological interpretations from Bear Creek's drilling campaign, to our upcoming 5,000-meter drilling program.

We're incredibly excited to resume drilling at the Palos Verdes vein system, which has already returned outstanding results. Combined with the fully permitted Hot Breccia copper project in the heart of the Arizona copper belt, we anticipate a very active second half of 2024, with multiple drill results expected from these two world-class exploration projects.

Palos Verdes (silver, Sinaloa, Mexico)

• Drilling Underway: The much-anticipated drilling program at Palos Verdes has officially commenced! The first hole, PV-24-34, is currently being drilled from Vizsla Silver's concession, targeting the Palos Verdes vein and? the higher gold-silver vein about 50 meters downdip from previous intercepts. • Collaboration with Vizsla Silver: We're deeply grateful for our partnership with Vizsla Silver. Their willingness to allow us to drill from their property and their team's on-the-ground collaboration have been crucial in enabling us to access deeper parts of the Palos Verdes vein system. The preparation for drilling involved extensive coordination between our teams, including aligning on safety protocols, work procedures, and environmental considerations. It took careful planning and a lot of hard work to get the drill sites ready, given the unique terrain and specific permit conditions.? We are now thrilled to be in the active drilling phase.
• Goal of the Drilling Program: The 3,000-meter drilling program at Palos Verdes is strategically guided by the recommendations of the Panuco Joint Technical Committee. The program aims to (1) further explore the high-grade mineralized zone identified in the southwestern portion of the Palos Verdes vein, (2) explore for the continuation of the vein on its northeastern extension across a cross-fault, and (3) test the northeasterly extension of the Palos Verdes vein system near the concession limit adjacent to the historical Jesusita mine.

Hot Breccia (Copper Project, Arizona, USA)

• Recently Acquired Historical Data Validates Exploration Model: The recent acquisition of historical exploration data from Bear Creek Mining ( (former subsidiary of Kennecott Copper, now part of Rio Tinto) has not only strengthened our confidence in Hot Breccia's potential but has also validated our existing exploration model. This data aligns with our recent findings, highlighting a large, deep-seated anomaly that was also identified in our 2023 ZTEM survey. This suggests a significant mineralized system at depth, further supported by historical drill results and high-grade surface samples. We are optimistic about the potential for mineralization extending from depth to surface.? See our September 3, 2024 and March 26, 2024 news releases for more details.
• AI-Guided Exploration: We're partnering with ExploreTech to leverage their advanced xFlare AI technology. By integrating this new historical data with our own datasets, we're refining our drill targeting strategy to maximize the potential for discovery during our upcoming 5,000-meter drilling program. • Drilling Permit in Place: With the necessary drilling permit already secured, we are actively advancing preparations for drilling. We're excited to put our enhanced exploration model and AI-powered targeting to the test as we move closer to commencing this significant drilling campaign.
