Emtelle Shines at Connected Britain 2024
Colin Kirkpatrick , Emtelle Solution Director, delivered an insightful presentation focused on Homes Passed Plus. His talk highlighted the evolution of FTTh (Fiber to the Home) connectivity, emphasizing the advancements and future potential of this technology. Kirkpatrick’s presentation was well-received, offering valuable perspectives on how Emtelle is driving progress in the industry.
In addition to Kirkpatrick’s presentation, Craig Jones , Head of UK Telecoms at Emtelle, participated in a panel discussion with other industry experts. The panel explored the benefits of building networks with future capacity in mind, highlighting the importance of planning for scalability and long-term growth. Craig’s contributions to the discussion reinforced Emtelle’s commitment to forward-thinking and sustainable network solutions.
The highlight of the exhibition for us was the popular REVOlink3 live time trial competition, which drew significant attention. Participants had the opportunity to test their skills and compete in real-time, showcasing the efficiency and reliability of Emtelle’s REVOLink3 drop cable and DropDrive? drill-assisted pushing machine.

Ridgemount attends DVD 2024
This week RIDGEMOUNT TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED , an Emtelle company, is attending the Defense Vehicle Dynamics (DVD) 2024 exhibition at UTAC Millbrook, Beford.
DVD is a biennial Defence industry exhibition that enables focused engagement between Defence industry, DE&S Delivery Teams, Army Headquarters staff, and other Defence community users of Land Equipment.
Following our acquisition of Ridgemount Technologies, they have increased their capacity for Expanded Beam Connectors and Tactical Cable Assembly business to cater to the growing demands for Harsh Environment Communication platforms. Ridgemount’s F BEAM? Cable Assembly production is geared for rapid response of both standard and customized assemblies. The F BEAM? range is designed for robustness and reliability, F-Beam solutions excel in harsh environment applications such as military communications, industrial data communications, and outside video broadcasting.
