Here is a recap of what you may have missed.
During JTTC's monthly event, the Microsoft Hub featured a special edition titled "Empowering Women in the Drone Industry: Trailblazers and Innovators." This event highlighted the remarkable presence of accomplished women in the male-dominated drone industry.
The Azure and AI show explored a broad spectrum of topic of topics, delving deep into everything from the most recent updates to the freshest features within the Microsoft ecosystem.
We also share with you the latest Microsoft Windows 11 update bringing more than 150 new features, DALL·E 3 in ChatGPT, a new text-to-image model that allows users to bring their ideas to life and insights into Microsoft Learn assessments, allowing users to enhance their proficiency in various areas.
Finally, we celebrate Teresa B. Cyrus, MVP for her outstanding achievement as our newest MVP, her remarkable growth in the LinkedIn community and key contributor to our Azure and AI show. ????????????. She also designed The Microsoft Speakers Hub's new logo!

Empowering Women in the Drone Industry: Trailblazers and Innovators
In a male-dominated arena, the drone industry is witnessing a remarkable surge of accomplished women hailing from diverse corners of the world. In September's Journey to the Cloud, the Microsoft Speakers Hub had the distinct honor of engaging in insightful conversations with these trailblazers, where they unveiled their pioneering endeavors in harnessing cutting-edge technology and drone applications to create substantial impacts across a wide spectrum of industries.
Our guests for this show were: Adeola Akinwale – Founder of SheFlies in the United Kingdon; Gabriella Ailstock – Village Reach, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Isabelle Nyroth - Drone Operations Consultant at Yvarbrims, Stockholm, Sweden; Julie Makena – Drone Influence at Astral Aerial Solutions, Nairobi, Kenya and Yulia Druzhnikova - Co-founder at Fixar and Board Member at Aerial Evolution Association, Ontario, Canada.
These extraordinary women graciously shared their personal journeys, illuminating how they have flourished within this industry. They also delved into the multifaceted applications of both traditional drones and fixed-wing drones in fields as diverse as agriculture, medicine, and beyond.
We are confident that these remarkable women will serve as an inspiration to our next generation, igniting their passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. We eagerly anticipate witnessing the trailblazing accomplishments and contributions that these future leaders will undoubtedly make to our evolving world.

Armindo Manhique ?????????? ?? demonstrated Azure Bastion, a service that you deploy that lets you connect to a virtual machine using your browser and the Azure portal. September 22: Teresa B. Cyrus, MVP demonstrated how the Reuse File button is being relocated under the search feature in Microsoft Applications. Prathap Reddy Chenchappagari ???? - Microsoft [Azure] AI MVP demonstrated Azure ML Prompt Flow feature that allows users to create conversational AI models using natural language processing NLP. Frank Falvey ? shared New Windows 11 update that delivers over 150 new features bring the power of Copilot to the PC. He also shows us the capabilities of DALL-E3 in ChatGPT, generating imagines from a description in natural language. Replay Link.
September 15: Prathap Reddy Chenchappagari ???? - Microsoft [Azure] AI MVP introduced us to Azure Face API, a cloud-based artificial intelligence service provided by MS Azure that offers facial recognition and analysis capabilities. CollabCon 2023 - Orlando, Florida
CollabCon 2023 in Orlando on September 15, 2023, was a fantastic event featuring various workshops and notable speakers. Sharon Weaver hosted the event, kicking off the show with a panelist discussion. Later in the day she focused on Women In Technology and Mentoring where she, Joy Apple and Angela ? Jones shared their challenges and Journeys.
Shari L. Oswald, MVP, MCT, MSOM , known as Shortcut Shari, shared valuable tips on PowerPoint, TechSmith SnagIt, and Camtasia.
Daniel Foster highlighted new features in TechSmith products, promising to streamline production and editing. A lucky attendee even won a TechSmith full bundle subscription.
The event also featured Teresa Baxmeyer introducing Google Duet AI. Dan Rey and Teresa B. Cyrus, MVP presented MVP Insights and Public Speaking.
Overall, the event brought together IT professionals, provided valuable insights, and was a great experience for the attendees, with plenty of swag and even exciting giveaways . Click here to view event.
